Hola Cappy!

Having been born and raised in San Diego County, I can assure you that I love this area and am very familiar with it. Our local fishery became part of my life when I was too young to remember. My father enjoys fishing and the ocean and always has. He always has been eager to go fishing with us as a family and that really got me hooked at a young age. From catching Calico Bass, Rockfish and other inshore species to catching Yellowtail, Tuna, Dorado, Marlin, and even Wahoo in our local waters. As time has gone on, my passion has only grown and am very fortunate to have a career on the Ocean. From the ages of Ten and Fourteen, I was a part time pinhead on the Sea Star out of Oceanside CA. owned and operated by Capt. Joe Cacciola. Saltwater Bass Series has been a big deal in my life as well as my family. Having fished 7 seasons and 35 tournaments, we’ve gotten 9 top 3 finishes and 3 wins. The most recent win being in Newport Beach with Capt. Nathan Michalek. During the summer of my junior year in High School I worked 2 months at Five Star Fish Processing. Just before going back to school, I got a job offer from the Intrepid and worked the rest of that summer as well as most of the following season. Captain’s Bill Cavanaugh and Sam Moore along with the crew taught and showed me a lot during the many days I had on the water with them. I learned a lot and had a great time working on the Long Range Boat but decided to leave on good terms and work on the San Diego, a full day boat owned and operated by Ryan Bostian. Matt Bralla also runs the boat and was alongside Ryan when it came to setting a good example for the crew to be the best in the fleet. From the customer service to the nonstop hard work and dedication to find fish, these boats have taught me so much. After 3 years of working full time on the San Diego, the opportunity has come up to run a charter business and provide great customer service day in and day out! I am eager to meet you and even more so to put you on the fish and have a great day on the water!
